VIP (Dynamic IP Pool)

Scenario: Configure the DIP Pool on firewall so that all users behind the firewall will be accessing internet using any IP address in the DIP pool.

Step1.  We first need to configure the basic LAN and WAN settings on the firewall.

Step2.  To configure VIP go to,

Firewallà Virtual IPàIP Poolà Click on Create New and enter the following detail.

Then click on OK

Then the following entry is made.

Step3. Now we need to call this IP Pool in the policy. To do so go to,

Firewallà Policyà Click on edit for the default policy.

Once these configurations are done the local users will access the internet by taking the IP’s defined in the IP Pool.
